And time flies...

~ You will never be completely at home, because part of your heart will always be somewhere else. That is the price you pay for the richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place ~

Hey guys! I'm back!!

In today's post, I am going to talk a little bit about how was my life after my return to Spain.

Bye New York. Welcome back!

~ You build a life in 17 years, leave it for 10 months. Then you build a life for 10 months and leave it forever. Which one is harder? ~

And that is the question that I have been asking myself the last weeks...

Two Months Later...

"Homesick"

Homesickness is just a state of mind for me. I'm always missing someone or someplace or something; I'm always trying to get back to some imaginary somewhere. My life has been one long longing.

Today, I felt a great emptiness... Today, I was watching a TV show based in New York, and tears came to my eyes. Every time I saw a place I had visited, memories would beat me.

This Sunday, it would be a year since I flew to the US, but unfortunately, I am not there anymore... In a few days also, it would be two months since I left the US.

I am sorry if I did not write any post since june. I was so busy during the summer, and I knew, if I started writing a new post about my last days, I would cry. But do not worry, I will find the strength that I need and finish my post.

Thanks to this exchange year, I have met wonderful people. Without them, my year wouldn't have been the same.

Let me tell you, that you will never be forgotten.

Squad, friends and some teachers, you will be always in my heart, and I know, I will be back in Mount Vernon with you all.

Love you always and don't forget this: it's not a good-bye, it's a see you later.

Love always,

Nereu

"I love getting older. My understanding deepens. I can see what connects. I can weave stories of experience and apply them. I can integrate the lessons. Things simply become more and more fascinating. Beauty reveals itself in thousands of forms."

Living a Summer's Dream

"The tans will fade, but the memories will last forever".

Welcome to New York, USA!
