And that is the question that I have been asking myself the last weeks...

Two Months Later...

"Homesick"

Homesickness is just a state of mind for me. I'm always missing someone or someplace or something; I'm always trying to get back to some imaginary somewhere. My life has been one long longing.

Today, I felt a great emptiness... Today, I was watching a TV show based in New York, and tears came to my eyes. Every time I saw a place I had visited, memories would beat me. 

This Sunday, it would be a year since I flew to the US, but unfortunately, I am not there anymore... In a few days also, it would be two months since I left the US. 

I am sorry if I did not write any post since june. I was so busy during the summer, and I knew, if I started writing a new post about my last days, I would cry. But do not worry, I will find the strength that I need and finish my post.

Thanks to this exchange year, I have met wonderful people. Without them, my year wouldn't have been the same.

Let me tell you, that you will never be forgotten.

Squad, friends and some teachers, you will be always in my heart, and I know, I will be back in Mount Vernon with you all.

Love you always and don't forget this: it's not a good-bye, it's a see you later.

   A tres semanas de irme a USA, toca empezar con las despedidas. La primera de todas fue el ayer.

  Tras volver de Madrid, he estado viendo mucho la tele, leyendo un poco y quedando con algunos amigos. Pero no solo hice eso. También he ido a la playa y el primer día... me he quemado toda. ¡Era horrible! No podía vestir vaqueros y si el sol o alguna otra fuente de calor me llegaba a las piernas, me empezaban a arder... Pero ahora estoy mejor ><

  A principios de mes, unos amigos míos de las Rías Bajas, me han hecho una fiesta sorpresa de cumpleaños. Ese fin de semana se me hizo muy corto, pero lo he aprovechado al máximo.
